SYNOPSIS
Through her voice and poetry, Miss-Tic, du bruit dans les yeux reveals the inspirations and intimate wounds of the most famous and respected pioneer of street art. An initiatory quest that recounts the power of words, women's freedom and the urgency to create, in the streets, on walls, against all odds, to escape her demons. Based on archives and unpublished documents, testimonies from close friends and artists who knew her, such as « L'Atlas », Ernest Pignon-Ernest and the mysterious « Space Invader », the film offers a deep dive into the melting pot of urban art that emerged in the 1980s and which, from Paris to Berlin via New York and Los Angeles, continues today through the work of a new generation of artists.
Antoine Novat has been a documentary film director and producer since 1998. During the same period, he founded Scherkhan Production to develop independent films and his own projects. In 1999, his documentary Rapporteurs de Guerre (War Reporters) was widely distributed worldwide.
